At Viña Ochagavía, we proudly carry the legacy of Don Silvestre Ochagavía, a pioneer of Chilean wine, who in 1851 planted the first French vines in Santiago. A man of vision and character, Don Silvestre valued craftsmanship, the importance of origin, and the unique qualities of the land.
Today, that spirit lives on in every one of our bottles. That’s why we are proud to share that three of our wines have been recognized by the prestigious Wine Enthusiast magazine. Our Don Silvestre 2020 received 90 points, while both the Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 and the Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2023 were awarded the Best Buy distinction.
These honors reaffirm our commitment to excellence and celebrate over 170 years of history devoted to crafting wines with identity, character, and a deep respect for our origin.
